Produce TV series for South
East Asia
Report half way through
production.
With the footage of the 2006 annual
World Pea Shooting
Championships safely 'In the Can'
TV Concepts - the production arm of
GallCommTV Group
are at the
half way stage of their 'Bizarre' TV series commissioned for
broadcast by a South East Asian TV group.
Featuring such bizarre events as the 'World Conker Championship'; the 'World
Bog Snorkelling Championship', and including 'World Snail Racing'; 'Toe
Wrestling'; and the 'World Stinging Nettle Eating championship' to
mention just a few, this series will focus on the more "Idiosyncratic" things
the people of Britain get up to.
"Shooting on the project started back last Autumn with the World Conker
Championship in Ashton, and we hope to finish with a return to Ashton this year"
said GallCommTV Chief Exec.
Vinny Gallagher, "The idea for this series has been in my head for quite a few
years now, and I've tried many times to get it into production, but it's always
been pushed back to make way for other projects."
