GallCommTV stock SONY and IKEGAMI camera equipment. We have found these deliver excellent results and very reliable, even in the roughest conditions. Clients can specify their preferred brand and format of course. One of our strengths is that we own our equipment and can therefore guarantee all our kit is in tiptop condition and fully serviced. A comprehensive range of lenses accompany our cameras. We have at present five full shooting kits - camera and sound - plus enough lighting to light a medium sized town.... well we ARE the sole UK Distributors of DYNAcore Technology range of  Studio & Location Lighting. We also have a number of smaller light weight (DVCAM) cameras (Sony PD170)  Sony-DSR-PD170P

Please note.... we do not dry hire our equipment to clients. All equipment is sourced in-house & supplied with operators.

Camera crewing options

Option 1 .. One man Crew; A typical camera kit consists of Camera & Operator; Sony video monitor; Tripod; pan & tilt bar; standard (ENG) lens; mains power supply; 4x l-ion batteries; charger. Hand-held mic + radio mic; (tape stock is charged as used)

Option 2 ..Two Man Crew;  Camera kit as above with Sound Recordist; 4xchannel field mixer (we use 'audio developments' mixers) cables, headphones as required; MKH416 shotgun mic with basket & hairy windjammer; extendable fish pole; Audio2000 radio mic & receiver; 2 x Sony ecm77 lapel mics; 1 x Beyer hand-held reporter mic.

Lights;        A 'reporter' lighting set consisting 3 x redheads (with barn doors); stands & cables; a range of gels/scrims as required. (Replacement  lamps charged at suppliers rates when required)

Charges;  Rates quoted are examples only and can be tailored to clients specific requirements. Please contact us for a quote.
                     Examples are for an 8 hour day (or part thereof) with up to 20 miles travel. (We charge for outward travel only.)
